In a Dream Release!

I shot for a midnight release and I'm about 16 hours late. I did release the video on the day that I promised, so I consider that a job well done. I may have had to sit in the computer lab for two hours to let URI computers upload the video, but the mission is accomplished. This is our best video in a while. Check it out below!

Meet the Cast!

The movie is done and is all ready for tomorrow’s release date. Tomorrow is the first day of school at URI which is the perfect time to release the video. Start of classes means that is time for a distractions and procrastination on the internet.

“In a Dream,” features some No Way José Media veterans and some new faces. Inception already blew your mind once, let's take a look at the team that is preparing to blow your mind again.

Name: Forbes
Role: Dom Cobb / Leonardo DiCaprio
First Appearance: Burnside Autotuned Christmas
Most Memorable Moment: N/A
Zodiac Sign: Cancer

For Forbes, the transplant from some college that was smaller than an iPod shuffle, this is his first video appearance with No Way José Media. Forbes did make some appearances on the Burnside Autotuned Christmas album, but he is starting out strong with his starring role in this film as Leo DiCaprio.
Forbes does most of the vocals through the song, which is a welcome change from that kid who usually does our vocal work…
You can definetly expect more collaborations with this No Way José Media rookie, especially considering he no longer has to walk all the way from a different building any more, and lives only two doors down from me.

Name: Shelby
Role: Ellen Page / Ariadne
First Appearance: “Cooler than Me”
Most Memorable Moment: Rapping in “Go Home Madd Dogg” as Shall Be Blood
Zodiac Sign: Virgo

Shelby as also only recently jumped on the scene, appearance first (technically) in the Brent Diss “Go Home Madd Dogg.” Don’t be fooled by her light complexion, this girl has a dark side and it comes out in her raps…
Previously featured in the “Cooler than Me” video, Shelby takes the tough role of Ariadne in this film and lends her voice to the vocal track as well.
I’m still trying to convince her to release a full album as Shall Be Blood, but this girl, who shares her hometown with the Jersey Shore’s Pauly D doesn’t seem to be all that interested.

Name: Eric D
Role: Eames
First Appearance: First Appearance
Most Memorable Moment: Not shaking his hand on his first day of work
Zodiac Sign: Aquarius

For Eric, he truly does feel like he is in a dream, simply because I am finally letting him be in a video. He was disappointed when I turned him down for the Bison Log Remix because he was still under 18, and has been dying to be in a video since then.
For Eric, his most memorable moment outside of No Way José Media, will be the one moment he won’t let me forget. Eric and I work at the same unnamed pizza restaurant. Eric started about two years after I did, and on his first day, our Manager brought him around to introduce him to everyone. When e brought him over to me, he offered his hand for me to shake it. I apparently then looked at my own hands, which were in gloves, and told him, “Sorry, I’m wearing gloves,” and then went right back to leaning up against the counter. I didn’t even have any tickets to make.

Name: Oliver
Role: Eames
First Appearance: “Polish Roulette”
Most Memorable Moment: “How Could this Happen to Me”
Zodiac Sign: Taurus

Oliver is probably the most decorated NWJ Media veteran there is, having a role in “How Could this Happen to Me,” a video that is no longer on the site. This video followed an unfortunate night for Oliver to the Simple Plan song, “Untitled.” Oliver was tied down to a bed with Playstation controllers and the rest is history.
Oliver has also appeared in “Polish Roulette,” “Bison Log,” “Bracketology with BJOJ,” “The Bison Remix,” “I Hate College,” & “Christian Gambler’s Fund.”
The “O” in BJOJ has come a long way since his days were it took numerous takes for a simple shot.

Name: Tim B
Role: Young Fischer
First Appearance: “I Hate College”
Most Memorable Moment: Shooting three 3 pointers in a row backwards, on film for “The Bison Remix”
Zodiac Sign: Gemini

Tim’s first appearance would be the “I Hate College” video, where he makes a split second appearance playing rock band. His appearance is so brief, Tim didn't even know he was in that video. I had to double check this morning to make sure.
Tim was also part of the duo that crafted the beat to “The Bison Remix,” and had a verse as well, which is where his most memorable moment comes from. During filming for his basketball scene, I thought it would be cool if he shot a three point shot backwards. I had no expectations of this going in so while filming, I stayed on him shooting until the ball left the frame, and then panned quickly over to the basket to film it going in, assuming I would have to cut it later. Tim made the shot. Leaving the camera rolling, I had him shoot again, this time, following the ball. He made it yet again. He made it a third time too, all with the camera rolling to catch this glorious once-in-a-lifetime event.

Role: Arthur
First Appearance: “Mozzarella”
Most Memorable Moment: “I Hate College”
Zodiac Sign: Pisces

As for myself, I’ve been in the videos for a while, considering I’m the one making them and all. “I Hate College,” is my most viewed video and probably my claim to fame. Sam Adams and his autotuned voice will try to steal my thunder as the best Asher Roth parody, but considering he has a record deal, I don’t quite think it’s fair.
Of course, Mozzarella would be my first appearance, and that is one I hope we can all forget. I have a feeling that listening to me sing that song should come with a Surgeon's General warning or something.

Status Update

Most likely, barring any unforeseen holdups, the newest video will be released on Wednesday 9/8. I'm about 80% done with editing for now, and I'll be able to finish everything else up tomorrow. Then I'll spend another day doing some final touch-ups to make sure everything looks as beautiful as I am and then it will be uploaded on the internet for your viewing pleasure!

This video has been a lot of fun and will probably be our best video since, "I Hate College."

On a random note, Blogger just added a new statistic tab. Therefore I just realized that I've received 20 page views this months from people Google Image searching Twilight, and one of my posts coming up...

I hate Nicki Minaj with a fiery passion

About a week ago or so, I wrote a post explaining my desire for one superpower, to be able to rip out the vocal cords of certain people. Most of the time that I want to use this superpower, I'm at a restaurant, and some girl has some loud obnoxious voice, or I'm on a train, and some girl has some loud obnoxious voice, but If I am ever granted this superpower, I know exactly who I am using it on first.

I like Drake. I like his sound, his lyrics, I even like him on facebook, but this has gone too far. Did someone as good as Drake, really say something positive about Nicki Minaj, who is by far, the worst thing that has happened to that kind of music since the overuse of autotune?

Everything about Nicki Minaj pisses me off, and it is amplified because she is featured in EVERY FREAKING SONG on the radio. Her lyrics are atrocious and make Madd Dogg Brent look good. Her voice is whiny. Seriously, the only good thing about her video, "Your Love," is that she dies at the end.


And every time that she tries rhyming "toddler" with "store," I just want to punch my fist through the radio and rip out her vocal cords, so she can never poison my ears again.
